Link to an External Website

To create a link to an external website:

  • Highlight the text or image you wish to link from.
  • Select the 'Link' icon from the middle toolbar.
  • Copy/paste the URL of the site you would like to link to in the URL field.

If you copy/paste the "http://" or "https://" of the address, the Protocol drop-down to the left will automatically adjust.

  • Choose the Target tab.
  • From the drop-down, select New Window.
  • Hit the OK button to apply the link.
