Embed an Audio File with SoundCloud

To embed an audio file, you will need to utilize a sharing service like SoundCloud to host your media files. Once you've uploaded the file to your account, follow the steps below to embed it into your website.

Step 1: Obtain Share Code

• Below the track, click the Share button.
• At the top, choose Embed.
• The default height is 450px. This can be changed by scrolling down and choosing the More Options drop-down. From there, select the appropriate size. (We recommend 300px.)
• Scroll back up and in the Code and Preview box, highlight AND copy all of the code.

Step 2: Embedding Audio File to Site

• Within the editor, place your cursor where you would like the audio to go. 
• Type your name in ALL CAPS. This will help us identify where to place the code we just copied.
• Select the 'Source' button.
• Locate your name. Place your cursor directly before the first letter in your name.
• On your keyboard, hold CTRL and hit the V key to paste.
• Select the 'Source' button again to return to the editor. The audio will be represented by an IFRAME box.
• Delete your name.
