Using the Serving Center

The Serving Center is is an excellent tool to display your menu or services online when you do not use e-Commerce. The Serving Center can contain multiple menus to break down products by category and allow you to organize your products in the way you find most convenient.

Create a menu

1. Click the + New Menu button from the top right.
2. Enter the Menu Name.
3. A Unique Menu URL will automatically be created, beginning with “/food/”. You can edit or remove the automatically generated URL and create your own (we recommend using all lowercase letters, no special characters, and replace spaces with "-" or "_") .
4. Enter any custom SEO Keywords and Description that you would like to associate with the menu.
5. Save Menu.

Create a Menu Section

1. Click + New Section.
2. Enter the Section Name.
3. You can Disable the section entirely if items are coming soon. You can also hide the Section Title if you prefer.
4. Save Section.

Create menu items

1. Click on the menu section you want the item to appear under.
2. In the second column, select + Add Item.
3. Next, you will have the choice of how you wish to set the layout: Structured of Free Form.
   • Structured will have its own section for pricing and tags. This will be the most commonly used option.
   • Free Form will just have a WYSIWYG window without pricing options. This will enable you to set up the product display how you wish.
4. Enter the Item Name that the customer will see.
5. Enter the Product Description and include any information you wish the customer to see.
   • If you used the Free Form option, you can save the item now and disregard the rest of the steps in this section.
6. Select + Add a Price Choice…
7. Enter the price item name (example: small, red, add option).
8. Continue to add price options when applicable.
9. Add any appropriate Tags.
10. Save the item.
