Quick Start Guide

The 360 CMS Dashboard

To access your dashboard, go to www.yourwebsite.com/login, making sure to replace www.yourwebsite.com with your actual domain name. Log in with the username and password you created, or which were provided to you.

The dashboard is the first screen you see and it will look something like this:

The 360 CMS dashboard is the “back-end” of your website – your visitors will never see this part. The back-end is the foundation for controlling how your site looks and functions, and managing your settings.

Dashboard Sections

On the dashboard screen you will see a “Quick Launch” section with links to commonly used areas. Click on a button to go to that area
* Tip: areas of the dashboard can also be accessed using the navigation on the left side of the screen
* Note: not all components are available on all websites
  • Blocks - Update existing blocks or add new blocks here. Blocks are “sections” of a page which can be set to appear on specified pages.
  • Blog - Update existing blog articles or or add new articles to the “Blog” area of the website
  • Events - Update existing events or add new events here to be included in the “Events” area of the website if applicable
  • Forms - Update existing forms or create new forms, and view form submissions
  • Image Gallery - Update existing galleries, upload and remove images, create new galleries
  • Media Manager - Browse media files uploaded to the website, including images, PDFs, and free stock photo libraries
  • Member Directory - View and edit directories and member profiles
  • Menus - Update navigation menus and menu items, or add new menu items
  • News Articles - Update existing news articles or or add news articles to the “News” area of the website
  • Pages - Update existing pages on your website, or add new pages
  • Sliders - Update existing sliders and individual slides, or add new ones
  • Social Media - Add links to your social media accounts and use a block to display them on your website
  • Themes - View all installed themes and edit theme files
  • Users - Update and add users, update passwords, assign roles

Common 360 CMS Tasks

Reset Your Password

If you forget your CMS password, you can reset the password by going to www.yourwebsite.com/login (making sure to replace www.yourwebsite.com with your actual domain name) and clicking "Forgot your password?". You will then need to enter your username or email address and click "Reset Password", which will prompt an email to be sent to the address with instructions on completing the password reset. If you don't see the message please check your email's "spam" folder as these types of messages sometimes get flagged as spam. If you still cannot locate the message in your spam folder, please contact support at support@360psg.com to manually reset the password.

Add a New Page

  1. In the website dashboard, under “Quick Shortcuts”, click “Pages”
  2. On the “Pages” screen, In the upper left, click the green "New Page" button
  3. On the “New Page” screen, enter your "Title" and the "URL" will auto-fill with the same
  4. In the content editor, type your page title at the top and add your content below.
  5. Use the "Paragraph Format" button to change the style of the page title to "Heading 1", and set the page text to “Normal”
  6. When finished, click the blue "Save Page" button in the upper right

Edit a Page

  1. In the website dashboard, under “Quick Shortcuts”, click “Pages”
  2. On the “Pages” screen, to the right of the page  you wish to edit, click the blue “Edit” button
  3. On the “Edit Page” screen, update your “Title” and “URL”, or update content in the editor as needed
  4. When finished, click the blue "Save Page" button in the upper right

Add an Image to a Page

  1. In the website dashboard, go to Website > Pages
  2. To the right of the page you wish to edit, click the blue "Edit” button
  3. On the “Edit Page” screen, In the content editor, place your cursor in the area of the page where you want the image to appear, and click the “Image” button
  4. In the "Image Properties" window that pops up, click "Browse Server" to the right of "URL"
  5. In the window that pops up, navigate to the folder which contains the image, or where you wish to upload the new image

    a. If uploading a new image, in the upper right, click "Add Files

    b. In the file window that pops up, locate the file you wish to upload and double-click it, OR cancel out of the file window and then "click and drag" your files into the area labeled "Drag & Drop your files here" (NOTE: always use a new, unique file name for the image)

    c. Your file will be listed under "Files to be uploaded". Click the blue "Begin Upload" button in the upper right

    d. Once the file is uploaded, the "Drag & Drop your files here" message will appear again. Click "Cancel" in the upper right.
  6. Click on the desired image or the new image you just uploaded, and click "Select" in the upper right
  7. The window will close, revealing the new image in the "Image Properties" window
  8. Click the green "Ok" button in the "Image Properties" window
  9. Click the blue "Save Page" button in the upper right

Add New Navigation Menu Item

  1. In the website dashboard, under “Quick Shortcuts”, click “Menus”
  2. On the "Navigation Menu" screen, click "Main Menu" in the left column. The menu items will appear on the right.
  3. Click the green "Add a link" button in the upper right, and a new section will appear at the bottom where you can enter a "Label" and "URL"
  4. In this new section, enter a "Label" for the page name, and click "Choose" to the right of the URL field
  5. In the "Page Picker" window that pops up, locate your page (type a keyword in the name field and click "Apply" to aid your search)
  6. Still in the "Page Picker" window, click the blue "Select" button to the right of the new page you wish to link to
  7. The "Page Picker" window will close, revealing a value in the URL field. Click the blue "Save" button on the right.
  8. Use your mouse cursor to click and "drag" menu items in the list to re-order the items, or to insert as a submenu of another item
